68B00 MPU (NOS)

Description

MC68B00P is a 2Mhz MPU / CPU.  DIP-40 Package.  The MC6800 is a monolithic 8-bit microprocessor forming the central control function for Motorola’s M6800 family.  The MC6800 is capable of addressing 64K bytes of memory with its 16-bit address lines.  The 8-bit data bus is bidirectional as well as threestate, making direct memory addressing and multiprocessing applications realizable.  These are used in many arcade and pinball applications such as bally MPU AS-2518-17 and AS-2518-35 and others that use this MPU.  This MPU can replace any of the 6800 series such as the 68A00, 6800 and any other 1Mhz, 1.5Mhz and 2Mhz.  These are brand new original NOS chips which are very hard to find that aren’t counterfeit.
