Wells Gardner K4900 Series arcade monitor Cap Kit 105C 100% Nichicon capacitors. This kit will work for every model of standard resolution k4900 chassis and also the 19inch K5500 / K5501 standard resolution chassis including the 19K5603 chassis. “Mega Deluxe Cap Kits” Our kits have some of the BEST quality, low ESR, and longest life capacitors included. All of our Cap Kits / Get Well Kits include a sticker so you can place it on the monitor to help you keep track of the work you did and when it was done. 19 capacitors included in kit along with great instructions. NOTE: Filter cap for this chassis is a 560uf 200v and is not included in kit but can be purchased separately on our site. NOTE: Its super rare but some K4900 chassis have a 47uf capacitor at location C313 and if you replace it with the 100uf cap in the kit the image will have a slight size/Squishing issue of the vertical side of the monitor that you can’t adjust out so if you have the 47uf at C313 then add a note to your order that you need the C313 100uf cap in the kit switched to a 47uf capacitor and we will modify the kit for you. (This is only on the 19inch version and not the 13inch version).

Quality cap kit for my K4900. Peter provides higher voltage caps in some cases (which is OK as long as uF is the same) so that they last 3 times as long. Also, I shot a few e-mails his way for some questions and he answered within MINUTES! Awesome support!

Ordered three of these cap kits and every single one was correct and came with very complete detailed instructions. I had one capacitor left and did a search online and found out that some chassis needed the capacitor and some didn’t. Kudos to them for sending that extra one whether or not you needed it. Lovin’ these 4900 cap kits but I wish the documentation mentioned that C366 (22uF@50V) may not be needed. I had to research on KLOV to make sure I didn’t have to install it. In any case I love the quick ship and the high quality caps.

Replaced the caps using instructions provided, but had a problem with the image afterward. At least the instructions explained what the cause was, that I had one of those super-rare K4900s that needed a different capacitor at C308. Checking the old one confirmed it and it worked fine with the old capacitor reinstalled in that spot. Excellent work in explaining potential problems for relative newcomers! If you can solder, you can replace a cap kit.

Nice quality caps with a great info sheet and alternate caps for different chassis versions but it does NOT have all the caps for every K4900 like the description says…if your K4900 has a 47uf cap at C313 it is not included in the kit. Always a bummer finishing a monitor rebuild but can’t finish it and test because a cap was left out of the cap kit
Seeing as there’s been problems for some folks with just replacing C313 with the 100uf that comes with the kit, it should have the 47uf 250v included for those chassis, OR a NOTE in the cap kit description to check your chassis to see what you have at C313 before ordering so you’re not paying shipping and delaying AGAIN for one cap.
